My experiences and skills have been gained over a period of twenty years. I started my career by working and training in a tailor workshop in Germany.
After returning to Macedonia, I ran a small clothing production company for eight years where, apart from managing the company, I also made all the patterns, organised the production and controlled the quality. After that I worked for seven years in a factory that uses the LON system.
While working there, I organised the production, checked the patterns and made all the necessary corrections. The last three years I worked in a fashion house where I made patterns based on designer sketches. In addition, I trained all the newly employed pattern makers.
I would also like to point out that even though I have graduated in another field, I have been devoted to making patterns throughout all my career, and my life for that matter, as a hobby during my studying years, and then professionally.
All my experience and the excellent understanding of the human construction as well as the ability to conceptualise the apparel three dimensionally makes me a great pattern maker. I have so far worked only with AutoCAD because I have never had the opportunity to work with Lectra, Garber or anything similar.
I believe that, when given the opportunity, I could quickly learn to manage and become proficient in these programs.
